レベル3Chapter1のCelebrationsを終え、Types of restaurants。
延々と好きな食べ物とレストランに関する会話が続いた。
Where do you want to go for dinner?

I don't like hot dogs very much.

後半がアメリカ出身のPaul。
前回に引き続き、レベル3のChapter1。Celebrations。
物静かなJoeのレッスンと身振り手振りを交えて賑やかなPaulのレッスン、
対照的だった。
Paulから突然、Would you like an another daughter? For one month?
と言われた。留学生のホームステイを受け入れないか?ということらしい。

前回に引き続き、Chapter12レベルチェックを行い、その後はレベル2の
テキストを終了し、レベル3のChapter1を開始した。
レベル3に入るとテキストの会話のスピードが速すぎて3割くらい聞き取れ
なかった。

出身地のサンディエゴのそばで大きな火災が起こっているとのこと。
Articleに関する会話では、私の間違いをホワイトボードに書き留め、
一通りの会話を終えた後、まとめて説明してくれる。非常にわかりやすい
レッスンで、自分自身のためになる。
本日は早々にChapter11を終え、Chapter12のレベルチェックに入った。
このところ、1週間に1回のペースのレッスンになっているため、憶える
スピードより忘れるスピードの方が早い、言葉が出てこなくて困った。
こんな調子で次に進んで良いのだろうか。

Joolsのレッスンは物静かで淡々と進んだ。Joolsはlovelyという口癖が
あり、何かやったときのほめ言葉に何度もlovelyと言われた。
Johnのレッスンも静かに始まったがExerciseについて話をしていると
だんだんと打ち解けてきた。結構、早いペースの会話が続き、リスニン
グという点では勉強になり、良かった。
